At the heart of Rope Bite Pgh is a culture of respect. Our jams are sober, non-sexual spaces where personal boundaries are the priority. Whether you are practicing solo self-tying or engaging with a partner, we provide an environment where “no” is respected and “yes” is celebrated. Our experienced members are always on hand to ensure everyone feels safer, seen, and supported.

This isn’t just an event; it’s a gathering of the tribe. We celebrate the kink and LGBTQIA+ community and all our friends in a space designed for social connection and fun. Between ties, watch others, or hang out in the social space. This is a place to meet like-minded people, share stories, and build relationships that last long after the ropes are coiled.

Dedicated to Education

Growth is a lifelong journey. While we are an informal practice space, we are rooted in learning. If you are a newcomer and don’t know rope yet, feel free to come meet some great members and see some inspirational rope play. Questions are always welcome so long as the person isn’t engaged in a scene. Be inspired by others connecting with their partner through intricate floorwork and dynamic suspensions. Then come back to our skill shares to learn more!

Expect an afternoon filled with “smooth jams,” vibrant energy, and the meditative hum of a room in motion. We’re pulling out all the stops for our 15th Anniversary, concluding the day with a celebratory atmosphere to honor our history. Come for the rope, stay for the vibe, and leave with a full heart and new friends.

This jam is a true community effort where every person in the room contributes to the ‘vibe.’ Whether you’re a seasoned pro to a newcomer bringing your curious energy, you are part of the pulse of the evening. We believe that when safety and respect are the foundation, fun is the natural result.   • Experience Level: All levels welcome. No prerequisites!
  • What to Bring: Your kit and an open mind. (Loaner ropes available).
  • The Vibe: Think play-party light and not overtly sexual. Fun and vibrant!
